Gosh, I've been out the whole day today with my beloved husband. Just reached home a while ago. Tired but happy. We left home in the morning around 9.30 am Following are the places we visited today :
10.00 am Mt Faber. Nice view with beautiful clear weather. Unfortunately, cable car is closed for upgrading till April. What a waste!
12 noon Esplanade. Hot but breezy. Chilled under the bridge with a glass of ice chocolate at Starbucks. Very very windy.
1.30 pm lunch at Arab Street. We had naan with keema and lamb masalah. It's a very nice Indian restaurant with good sense of decor. I like... After lunch, we went to the mesjid and later to the nearby Malay Heritage Museum for a short visit.
4.00 pm drove around Little India. The streets were overly crowded so we decided to head back home.
4.30 pm we were home. Fried some epok2 and made a pot of tea. It's nice to have an afternoon tea with hot epok2 while flipping old photo albums.
6.00 pm on the road again to Tanjung Agas in Johore. Immigration checkpoint was a breeze. We reached there just in time for sunset, the sun was just about a foot before it set in. I always love the sunset at Tanjung Agas, it's very nice. We had seafood dinner; steam seabass, butter prawn, calamari, omellete, kailan and tomyam soup. We had water melon juice to go with the meal.
9.00 pm we've done! Stopped at rest area for toilet break and bought some local fruits, langsat and jambu ayer.
10.30 pm on the way back to Riverfront, we stopped by at Marina Barrage to view the skyline at night. Again, it's windy ... Alhamdullillah... the weather today was excellent.
11.45 pm reached Furama Riverfront where we dropped our guest. We were very tired especially my 'half' who was behind the wheel the whole day.
I hope our guest, Oliver Kienzle, his wife Brigit and son Nick from Germany had good time in our country.
