Not so good New-year eve

Today is the last day in 2008 and I'm not having a good time.

1) I supposed to be on leave today.  But changed my mind in the morning after whole night thinking of outstanding work.  Anyway, today we worked half-day as tomorrow is 1-Jan 2009.

2) Get scolding from boss in front of two staff for something unimportant!

3) Spending whole afternoon in library reading magazines ALONE!

Out of the above three miserable episodes, the worst is point (3).  I have to accept the fact that the kids are big now. They prefer to spend their times with friends than sitting in the library with their mother, especially on new-year eve.  Faris and Fahmi feel that staying home is not cool.  Sarah is too busy with the computer.  I actually missed the good old days where all of them will cling and follow me around.  To market, to clinic, to mall, to baking class, to yoga class to.... to ....  I guess this is a cycle of life.  The day will come when they will leave the house to start their own family.  It's kind of scary to imagine that...

I miss them so much.

Bush-shoeing this Christmas

With a very busy schedule at work, I'm now happy that I can finally distress myself with some online game. I am not a typical online gamer though. But giving a chance to take a shot at George Bush with shoes probably what I need to ease my work frustration. Memang padan dengan muka dier.

So get your shoes ready: http://www.sockandawe.com

False Judgement

Sometimes I don't understand why some people should get angry with me when I supposed to get angry with them.

I'm beginning to see the effects. The different responds. The hostility even though it's all good as it seems, that's only on the surface. Because I know somewhere under that facade, it's a totally different feeling. Slowly it begins to surface. And it's getting obvious now.
The false judgement.  The ever common human feeling, jealousy.....

Sometimes it makes me wonder why such people actually exist. What I mean is that people who have so much free time to actually criticize your being.  Everything you owned or do is either not nice to them or it just pisses them off.  It amazes me that they actually put a lot of effort in doing something like that.

Seriously, I don't really care already.  Lucky for you, my patience still runs. But again, even if I lost my patience, I still keep quiet bacause I'm not the type to confront people.

Salam

Crystal Crowne Plaza - JB

Semalam, Saturday, went back to office to finish my March reports.  I like to work on Saturday as it is very quiet and I can have full concentration. Alhamdullillah .... around 3.30pm when hubby came to fetch, I almost done.

We drove to JB straight from my office.  Causeway check-point jam giler.  So, we headed to Tuas check-point, it's equally the same.  Reached Tuas at 3.35 and finally got our passport stamped at 5.15! Spent 1 hour 30 minutes when usually it takes only 5-10 minutes. The decision to go to JB came at a very last minute.  Abang Ali called to say that he's going to spend a night there just to relax.  Kiter pon apa lagi, melatah and joined them.

Booked two rooms at Crystal Crown.  My room is 712 and Abang Ali's 713.  We have our dinner at Anjung, the restoran "atas pokok".  The much talked restaurant was indeed a very nice cosy place.  It is atas pokok, a real pokok (big one).  We ate on the floor, bersila atas tikar mengkuang.  Very unique.  It reminded me of kampung Abang Abu kat Endau.  Makanan pon ok, sedap jugak.

Lepas makan terus balek hotel, macam pengantin baru gitu......

Reached home at 4.00 petang Minggu.

Tired but puas hati ....

I AM NOT EXPLOITING THE MAID!!!

It's already 1.09 am, tapi mata ni tak ngantuk pulak. Terlalu banyak perkara di kepala otak ni. Lebih lebih lagi tentang mesyuarat tergempar semalam between hubby and his sibs.

Ya Allah ... I am not exploiting the maid ....

Aku tak kisah apa mertua cakap. She want to accuse me ker, she want to scold me ker, it's fine. Dia dah tua... orang tua memang macam tu, very sensitive. Let her be, aku tak pernah kecil hati malahan bertambah simpati pulak. Yang menyedih kan, kalau si muda yang banyak lantangkan suara. Pandai cakap jer buat apa! Banyak sangat suggestions pulak, Plan A... Plan B.... Lepas tu, nak hint hint that we invited mom to stay with us because we need the maid. Sungguh mengeciwakan kerana keikhlasan kita di salah ertikan.

Very Dissapointed - 1.48 pagi

Mother-in-law discharged from Alexandra Hospital

After 15 days, she's finally discharged. Well and fine.... alhamdullillah...

After work, have a quick dinner at Labrador Park before rushing to AH to fetch her. We arrived at the ward at 7.40pm. She's already changed and lying on the bed waiting for us. Poor mom.... eager to leave the ward and be home with us.

Mom, welcome home ....

InsyaAllah ... your health will be improved and restored. Amin.
