Out 2009 welcome 2010

Out 2009 and welcome 2010
The last few days in 2009 brought clumsiness out of me.  I was like one crazy woman at work. There's pile of things to finalise before the year-end.  My subordinate EG is on vacation for a week, she'll be back next year.  All her half-done assignment has fallen onto my honourable lap. She has two sets of LC documents to complete that must be submitted to the bank by 31st. Baik punyer assistant!  Her 5 sets of CO were rejected by the chamber yesterday due to tons of errors.  And another blunder, she has forgotten to activate her "out-of-office" message in her outlook, hence, panicking the overseas dealers as all their emails are not replied. Meaning, my outlook is now overflowing with SOS mails.

Last Monday, ST was on MC.  Fine!  Tuesday, when she returned, RK was on MC. Astaghfirullah... itu saja yang dapat dilafazkan.  The super hectic period contributed to my sleepless night on Tuesday.  I finally fall asleep after subuh prayer.  Sleep.... all the way till 11am.  Gosh! reached office at 12.10 like one superstar. A very bad example to end the year, I know.  Anyway, I was in the office until past 10 pm uploading 2010 prices into the computer system.

Argh.... this is me at office since after Christmas holidays.  Fire-fighting all the time.

Career was very challenging for me especially this year.

As a CSM, I was given a target for 2009.  Luckily I managed to achieve them but with tremendous stress of course.   All I could say is Alhamdulillah. Rezeki is in the hands of Allah SWT. If he wants to give it to you, he will extend it to you in any means and ways.

I've learnt so much in the pass years with great extend of experiences and responsiblities. Now I look forward to a better 2010.  InsyaAllah...

May Allah SWT bless us with good health and wealth and strengthen our iman as a good muslims, in the coming year and years to come.  Amin....

Happy new year...

What do you think of this set?  Cantek tak? It's a 4-cup setting. I need your honest opinion Ta. According to Yani, you dah tak mau share2 your overseas stuff in Multiply anymore. I understand that and respect your decision, but I hope you dont mind me seeking your advise on this set.

Bingung + Bengang

Just now at office, I received a phone call from a friend. We talked for about 30 minutes. After I put down the phone, I termenong sekejap ... teringat kata2 beliau.  Hmm.... I believed, we can write or comment anything we wish in our blog or other people's blog. So long we jaga our etika and bersopan, it's fine.  It's merely a thought, that's all. Arghhhh.... I don't understand why some people can go to the extend of analysing other people's comment and made their own judgement.  If you like it, read it and if you dont, just leave it. You don't have to call everybody and discuss on other people's comments.  Tak faham lah... why waste your time discussing about it.  Buang masa jer....

Btw dear friend, I know 'her' better than you do coz we are related. I know that her comment is sincere, no hidden agenda.

21st birthday BASH

I was so busy lately with works...that I have no time to post a very memorable moment happened on 23-Nov.  Gosh! my son has turned 21. Yes, my dear Fahmi is 21 years old.  I had secretly planned a surprise party for him.  I was on leave on that day as there were few things to do. First, my eldest brother and his wife were leaving for their blessed journey to Mecca in the late morning. In the afternoon, I accompanied Fahmi to Police Academy for some briefing on his SPF enlistment. In between, I quietly called his kakis asking them to come over around 6.30pm. All my other siblings had been mobilised to prepare for the surprise.  To kill time, we hang around at supermarket and have some drinks at food court.  I'm glad he did not notice of the super long time we spent together outside.  He still thinks that we will be going out for birthday dinner as usual.  I cannot forget his facial expression when he opened the door that evening .........

Here are some photos to share ...

P/S : the next day, I received an sms from the birthday boy

....."thank you for the gifts and the lovely surprise that you planned. I'm extremely touched by everything that happened. Thank you so much. I love you mom"...

I love you too son.

I hate my job

I hate my job. I am not kidding.

You want to know what I did at work every week? ABSOLUTELY BUSY LIKE ONE MAD WOMAN. I sat at my ***** desk with tons of paper for definitely more than 40 hours. I vetted and signed hundreds of invoices. And I read hundres of emails. And I attended a super-boring meeting to which I received another tons of assignment.

I hate my job. Some of you probably think I've got it made. I go to work in a climate controlled office, does'nt do much thing, and get paid for the opportunity. Who wouldn't love that?? You might be surprised. Time passed very fast when you have loads of thing. And I do mean FAST. I always didn't reallised the time until after everybody leaves the office at 6 pm.

My subordinate are a bunch of shits. One guy have to leave the office at 5.30 on the DOT everyday. "I'm sorry I've to leave now ... I'll do it tomorow morning, bye..." Another guy, "OMG! you mean I've to do this???? but why???? how can I manage???? why me???" Another guy, always MIA squatting at some Angmohs desk! endless shits !!!!......

I hate my job. I especially hate my boss. I have to listen to him in his office all day as he rambles on ad nauseum, using meaningless MBA terms like "functional matrix" and "deliverables" and "actional components" and "gap analysis" and "metrics" and "stratification" and "high level goals" and "distributed users" and "audit trail" and "ad hoc" and "resource snapshot report"...and that's ALL IN ONE SENTENCE. Sounds like he swallowed a textbook on corporate management. In a meeting the other day, he told me he wants to start having "brown bag sessions." WTF IS A BROWN BAG SESSION? If he thinks I'm going to spend my lunch hour sitting around a table and listening to his oral diarrhea, he better think again. I got a brown bag with something in it just for him...and it ain't an old changkee curry puff.

I hate my job. I'd rather selling flowers at Pusara Aman to hundreds of Mak Ciks. At least I'd be outdoors getting some fresh...well, getting some air. Every day would be chock full of surprises, and I'd have plenty of colorful stories to pass on to my grandchildren.

I hate my job. I just thought of another reason, my colleague, Sales "Director" is a butt puppet. Ever since he started his new position this year, he has been all about pleasing customers. Now I gotta send huge parcel to PTM by DHL every week at our cost. Not forgetting squeezing three forty-footer container load of machines into a two forty-footer container for PTM. This is madness! He's acting like a saint, Mr Nice Guy to a bunch of Indons there who he always called "Bro". Perhaps, Berok is more appropriate!

I hate my job. Please help me find another one before I go on a shooting rampage. Helppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
