My name is Khan

Sarah keep asking me if I've watched the DVD which my hub bought few weeks ago. She claimed that it's an excellent movie (bagus giler) and insisted me to watch.  Finally today, with a heavy rain pouring outside, I managed to snug myself on the sofa for a fascinating 2.40 hours show time ... 

For those who have not watch "My name is Khan", please go and watch the movie. And for those who have watched, I think you have to agree with us that it's a very good movie with huge impact on the storyline.  It's about how beautiful Islam is .... We are not a terrorist, we are Muslim, a human being, a servant of ALLAH who deserved to live peacefully.

We have two guest from Japan for a short holiday in Singapore, Mr & Mrs Okada. As usual, we are more than happy to bring them around our beautiful island. Mrs Okada cant speak a word of English. I macam orang bisu, communicate dengan dier pakai sign language. Tapi ok lah jugak.

A family friend invited us to her home for dinner. Thank you SD for the invitation, your baked potato and grilled salmon were superb!  Glorious food + warmth hospitality = Heaven.  We stayed there until almost midnight. Look at her beautiful home, it's awesome.


 

More notes from a semi-retired makcik.

The house seems to be alive again in the afternoon since 1-April. Yes, I'm now a semi-retired makcik who is busy working in the morning and enjoying a relaxing afternoon at home as a homemaker.

At office, my new port-folio works just right for me.  Though the first week was a bit chaotic as I'm not used to the short working time. But now, everything seems to be in place and I beginning to enjoy my work, at last.    

Coming home in the afternoon is awesome.  I have the whole house by myself and I'm free to do things I love doing.  And I'm fulfilled.  Alhamdullillah... I'm blessed and couldn't ask for more.

P/S : But wait... working half-day meant less S$ to splurge on.  Oh dear ... I will be getting my first pay-cut soon.
